Getting Those WIP Lenses Published

Today was a very uninspiring day for me.  I didn’t get much of anything done.

I did manage to revisit something that I’ve had sitting as a work-in-process for way too long though.

I’m proud to announce that Grow a Kitchen Garden is now published.  It’s sort of half new articles and half lensography of my other vegetable gardening lenses.  I’ll be adding to it as I make my way through some of my older recipe lenses where I included a grow guide for the Veggie.  (Before I realized that my lenses needed to be more specifically focused to do well.)  I’ll be moving the articles into the new lens (and deleteing them from the old) where they really belong.

I’ve got a few more of those WIP lenses to do as well.  I’m going to make it a priority to get those unpublished lenses done.  They aren’t doing anyone any good sitting where they are!

I’m still looking for your best ideas for NEW Giant Squid perks.  You can tweet your ideas from the following  Twttrstrm lens:

What new perk for Squidoo Giants would you like to see added

I find if you have a collection of similar lenses that it’s useful to have a lensography as such to help link them all together. It also creates more backlinks, but it’s like an introduction to the others.

I also create a links Plexo with my other linked lenses on and share it onto those lenses, which acts as an index.

I can’t get into Squidoo right now, but I would like to see for the Giants the ability to create modules that have already been configured. For example the Guestbook, configured with my Title, description (which usually contains formatting and links) and of course the comments settings. That would save some time when creating lenses.

I do not know if it is even remotely possible…but I think it would be great to copy a module and use it on a new lens. I think that is something like what Tony is proposing except I would like to see it for all modules.

Love your new lens, I’m bookmarking that one. I need to get better about planting my own stuff…I H-A-T-E the tomatoes at the grocery.
