Inauguration Day
New president. New hopes for the future! I for one am very happy to say bye-bye Mr. Bush and hello new day!
As far as what’s going on in my own little world:
I published another new lens yesterday. I made Tiffany Table Lamps because I have been searching for a set of lamps for my living room and keep getting drawn to the beautiful stained glass artwork on the Tiffany style lamps. I can’t really afford them right now but plan to incorporate one into my decor at sometime in the future. In the meantime, I’ve collected all the information I’ll need on one page.
Today at the Showcase I put the Spotlight on Spirituality! Spirituality shares what she does after publishing her lenses to help them be successful. She also shares stories about the making of two of her lenses. Take a peek. It’s good stuff!
I finally got around to featuring my Valentine’s Day Cupcakes lens at Cabaret Squidoo. There’s only 24 days, 8 hours, 10 minutes and 59 seconds until Valentine’s Day!
And I also got the Big Orange Recipe Contest information posted there. It’s getting exciting. We’ve already gotten a couple of entries!
You can see the blog posts here:

Oh! Almost forgot I made another Twttrstrm lens. How do you Make Money Blogging? Because… I really want to know!
Enjoy your Inauguration parties tonight! I know I’ll be celebrating!

“That Barack Obama is everywhere,” says the Canadian lensmaster who has two lenses about him!
I wish you luck on your search for Tiffany lamps. They certainly are beautiful. I wonder if there are any beautiful reproductions?
Now, I am off to checkout the ‘Spotlight on Spirituality’ — she’s a Squidoo friend and mentor.

I’m very happy to say goodbye to Bush as well, and the inaugation ceremony was great. I loved Obama’s speech, he is definitely a man of change, seeking a better world for all of us, not just in the USA.
I hope he is given the opportunity to be a historic president in terms of far more than just his ethnic background. Obama could be an instrument in helping to heal some of the rifts in the world, to help combat poverty, and to help reduce our footprint on the world.
